S.A.F.E. National Test Preparation Training
The Secure and Fair Enforcement for Mortgage Licensing Act of 2008 (SAFE Act) requires that state-licensed loan originators pass a qualified written test developed by the Nationwide Mortgage Licensing System and Registry (NMLS).
TACDC is now offering a SAFE ACT National Test Prep Course designed to assist
you in preparing for and passing the SAFE Act National MLO exam.
TACDC designed this test-prep since almost one-third of all test takers have failed the national exam, and more than half have
failed their second attempt. The course is NOT the required Pre-Licensing course and is not approved by NMLS. It is designed
to organize and supplement your study material.
TACDC is a Texas 501(c)(3) non-profit organization that has been providing trainings to the Texas Community Development
industry for over 15 years. TACDC has designed this test prep-course using our knowledge of the CDC industry to address the
particular needs and experiences of the CDC loan originators.
This course will also be helpful for individuals new to mortgage loan originating, and for the experienced loan originator
requiring a study guide.
The TACDC SAFE Act National Test Prep Course is open to all mortgage loan originators (MLO's)
seeking additional guidance in preparation for the SAFE Act national exam.
